Dr. Jeyendran, or popularly known as Dr. Jay, director since conception is a graduate from the University of Ceylon, Sri Lanka (1972), and with a M.S (1976) and Ph.D (1978) from the University of Minnesota, Diploma in High Complexity Laboratory Director (1994) and Andrology Laboratory Director (2012) from American Board of Bioanalysis, and Point-of-Care Specialist Certificate (2014) from American Association for Clinical Chemistry. He is a scientist, author, inventor, teacher, has been involved with male fertility since 1974.
He has published more than 350 book chapters, reviews, publications and abstracts. He has contributed significantly to studies in male infertility. Several of these original contributions have been accepted by peers as significant; one publication is internationally recognized as a standard for sperm quality. He has mentored more than 40 students, residents and fellows in Obstetrics and Gynecology, and Reproductive Medicine.
